  • May Elena's memory be eternal. Elena Nicole Badger of Sugar Land Texas, born March 15, 1966 in Washington, DC to Eileen Louvis and Nicholas Tsongos died peacefully on August 7, 2009. She is survived by her loving and eternally grateful husband James. By their adoring son Nicholas James (Niko) and her loving and devoted daughters Melina and Alexia Sitaras; her mother Eileen and husband George Louvis; her father Nicholas Tsongos and wife Velma; her sisters Chryssie and husband Jim Broadbent and Georgette and husband Royce Deterding and numerous nieces. She was in every sense where Texas met Greece in the most magical way. She filled our hearts, boggled our minds, took our breath away and captured our imagination. To her husband she was simply God's greatest gift every moment they were together and forever. The family will receive friends for a visitation from three until half past six o'clock in the evening with a Trisagion Service at half past six o'clock on Sunday August 9, 2009 at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 3511 Yoakum Blvd. The funeral service will be held at half past ten o'clock in the morning on Monday, August 10, 2009 at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 3511 Yoakum Blvd. Burial will follow at Glenwood Cemetery, 2525 Washington Avenue. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Elena's memory be made to the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral (Sunday School and Youth Ministry). Online tributes may be posted at www.bradshawcarter.com. (August 20, 2009)
